The almighty God created the universe and everything in it.
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
God is the Creator, and everything belongs to Him.
Among everything He created, there is one very special creation.
the LORD God formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.
God created people in His own image.
When He created them, He was very pleased.
God also gave people a wonderful gift. What do you think that gift was?
The gift God gave them was His blessing.
God blessed them and said to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground."
What does God's blessing really mean?
It means to be fruitful, to multiply, to fill the earth, to rule over it, and to care for God's creation.
God entrusted everything to humankind to care for.
But there was one command they were never to disobey.
And the LORD God commanded the man, "You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die."
God's command was, "Do not eat the fruit from that tree."
He warned them that if they disobeyed, they would surely die.
God's command was a line that must never be crossed.
It was a command to respect the order of creation established by God.
God gave Adam and Eve the freedom to choose.
So how did they respond to His command?
When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it.
Sadly, they gave in to the serpent's temptation.
Adam and Eve ate the fruit God had forbidden.
They chose to disobey God's Word.
By disobeying God, they crossed the boundary He had set.
The Bible calls this Sin.
Through one man, Sin entered the world.
So what happened as a result of Sin?
As a result of Sin, people were separated from God.
Their close relationship with Him was broken.
But what does Adam's Sin have to do with us?
for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
As a result of Adam's Sin, every person is born a sinner.
Everyone dies. But death is not the end.
Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment,
After death, judgment awaits.
What will happen to people judged as a Sinner before God?
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
The result of Sin is death—the eternal second death.
The second death is the eternal lake of fire, which the Bible calls hell.
There, people will suffer eternal punishment.
Throughout history, people have tried to solve the problem of Sin.
Some people thought that doing good would be enough to save them.
he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit,
But the Bible tells us that good works cannot save us.
Others thought they could be saved by keeping God's Law.
know that a man is not justified by observing the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by observing the law, because by observing the law no one will be justified.
But the Bible tells us that no one can be justified before God by keeping the Law.
Many people thought that one finds salvation through religion.
Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.
But the Bible tells us that salvation cannot be found in any other name.
No one can solve the problem of sin on their own.
Left on our own, we have no hope.
But because God loves us so much, He provided the only way to save us.
He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, into the world to save us.
So why is Jesus Christ the only answer?
Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
Jesus Christ is the only way to God.
Through Jesus Christ, the way to God is now open.
So how did Jesus make the way to solve the problem of Sin?
He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed.
Jesus, who was without Sin, died on the cross in our place.
He personally paid the price for our sins.
Through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, our sins can now be completely forgiven.
Then Jesus Christ rose from the dead.
For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,
He ascended into heaven and now sits at the right hand of God.
Now, what should we do?
How can we receive this gift of salvation?
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God
We receive God's gift of salvation through faith alone.
We are saved through faith in Jesus Christ alone.
Believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sins.
A man who believes in Jesus Christ as his Savior receives the gift of salvation.
The moment we believe, our lives are transformed.
Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God
Everyone who believes in Jesus Christ becomes a child of God.
God’s children are those who have received Jesus Christ as their Lord.
For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin because anyone who has died has been freed from sin.
A believer has been set free from the power of Sin and made righteous.
The Bible calls those who believe the righteous.
Through Jesus Christ, our status changes from sinners to the righteous.
So what blessings belong to those who have been made righteous?
I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life.
Those who believe will not be condemned.
Those who believe no longer need to fear judgment.
Why aren’t those who believe being condemned?
Because they have crossed over from death to life.
I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life.
God has given you this good news, because He loves you.
I pray that you believe in Jesus Christ and receive the gift of eternal life.
